I've not got a ton to say today. I've got a headache that's out-dueled me all day. It's been one of those days that the head's going to pound from sun up to sun down.
The good news is that my Blazers are playing in Philadelphia today, so the game came on at 4pm local instead of 7pm.
Now the 76'ers aren't a really good team right now, but Brandon Roy, who's been out the last couple of games, tried to come out and play tonight. And he re-injured his hammy. From a fan perspective, I don't get it. The next game on this roadtrip is in Boston. I would've rather Roy rested another game against a team they had a good chance of beating without him. Not guaranteed win - but the Blazers could've kept pace tonight without Roy.
Now who knows when he'll be back. It's very questionable whether he'll play against Boston now - a game where the superstar is needed.
OK. That's all I could muster at this moment. I'm going to go watch the game...quietly and without great movement.

Well, there is one good thing about Brandon being out for a while. I have Martell on my fantasy team!
It wasn't very smart, but it's easy to say that in hindsight. If he had gone out and dropped 30 on them, no one would have questioned it. I'd like to see him rest until the All-Star break, but that's probably never going to happen and considering what they have left of a team it's a scary thought.
