Today could be the day.

The Blazers sit at 27-18 at the beginning of this day, Monday the 25th of January.  That's a total of 45 games.  45 lonely games that I've watched without my favorite player, Nicolas Batum, on the court.  But that could all change today.

Batum has been cleared for practices.  He's been cleared by two doctors to play.  Now he just needs the coach to sign off on the decision.  And coach McMillan may be hesitant to rush him back given how the season is going.

But we know.  He wants to play.  Coach wants him to play.  I would really like to watch the second half of the season with Batum playing - and dominating - on the defensive side of the ball.

Media outlets are reporting that today is the day.  Game time is 7PM Pacific Time.  I've got Tuesday off of work.  I'm ready to get into this game tonight.

It's time for some Batum.
