After much cheering....and much scotch, the Blazers prevailed.

First off, my apologies to Nick at bballcardpro.  You see, he's a Memphis fan.  I'm a Blazer fan.  And the Grizz played the Blazers tonight.  One team had to lose.  I'm so thankful it wasn't the Blazers.

The Blazers were down by 12 at the half.  I wasn't so pleased with the situation.  Scotch commenced.  Yes, scotch is a verb.  Such is the price of the super-fan.  When the team is down, scotch happens.

In any event, the Blazers stormed back.  They built a lead.  From 12 down, they built a lead.  Then they took Batum out.  Lead failed.  Batum came back, and the lead was secured.  Funny how that happens.

So Stackhouse guy, does 21 points, 3 rebounds, a steal and a block still count as a fluke?  Or do the Grizz not count as legitimate competition?  Or could it be that the powers that be have taken their collectives heads out of their arses and have realized that leaving Batum in to play is actually a good thing?

The Blazers just went 4-1 on this road trip.  And Batum was a huge part of that.  And so what if I have a man crush?  Stackhouse was born in '74.  At least I don't have a geriatric man crush.

That may be the scotch talking.

I'll give you some props Batum is on a 2 game tear. You have me convinced to vote him ALL-NBA this year. And to steal one of your posts hey G Moses "tell the whole story". I never said I liked Stackhouse. All I said was at the times it was not a terrible move for the Bucks and time has proven me correct.

Say what you will. You will forever be the Stackhouse guy.

The Salmons deal is what made the Bucks the contender. I give them all the credit for the Salmons deal.

I thought we had you man! Portland outscored Memphis by 20 in the 3rd and that was the difference. I gotta give it up for Portland though, because they fought back and took the victory.

I thought Batum had an excellent night, so did Gasol with 15 and 11.

The Bucks have been in contention all year. The Salmons deal was great. They got the deal because Chicago wanted to dump salary and the Buck waited until the proper time the trade dead line to do so. At the time they signed Stackhouse there was not much else they could do. Which was my original point.
