Well, Portland just clinched a playoff spot with a mammoth win over the Knicks. Currently, the Blazers are in the 7 spot - but there's still plenty of opportunity to move up.
The game vs. the Knicks (no offense Charles) was brutal. The Blazers finally were beating down an opponent and stayed in the game long enough to step on their throats and not let a lesser team back in.
Oh, and Batum had 20 points and 5 boards. It was a good game to watch down to every man on the roster. Tomorrow will bring the Nuggets, and it's looking like a more winnable game now than the previous meetings. The current starting lineup the Blazers have is now 13-2 when starting together. The team is finally developing that chemistry that it lacked early on.
And despite all that has beset the Blazers this year, it's looking probable that the team will hit 50 wins again. I don't have any scotch to toast this momentous day, but I've got some Mountain Dew. It'll have to work. For this team to make the playoffs...it deserves some kind of toast.

WoW, that was embarrassing!!!. Your boy Batum had his way with my team. The Blazers look good. SInce it looks like my KNICKS aren't going to make the playoffs, or more accurately, were out of the playoff chase 6 months ago, I'll adopt the T. Blazers as my team for the playoffs.
Everybody...everybody. We have a new convert. Charles, welcome to the team.
Currently, Roy, Aldridge, Miller, Camby and Cunningham are still open for your personal rooting interest.
Batum, Bayless and Rudy have all been taken.
HAHAHA Thanks!!! I think I'll go with Camby. Mostly cause I remember the UMASS days and he has some really sweet 90's inserts.
I was actually a fan of the Knicks in the '90s and Camby in particular, so it's been great to see him contributing for Portland now after those years with the hated Thuggets.
