Brutal. And Captain Rotation 'Guru' struck again.
I understand that Batum was cold from the floor last night, but then again, so was the whole team outside of Rudy Fernandez. Roy went 3-14, Aldridge went 6-16 and so on and so forth. So in that respect, I can understand Batum's numbers in the shooting category. But c'mon, Nate. In the 4th quater, you're going to let your best defender sit on the bench?
This team in the 3rd quarter cut a huge Denver lead down to a manageable size. And then Capt. Nate crapped all over it.
But on the brighter side, it's good to see George Karl actually coaching games. That guy is going through radiation and chemo and still find the strength to deal with media, coach his players and run the game. I wasn't a huge Karl fan before - but that dude has something that's special.
'Melo might have scored 30, but game ball definetely goes to coach Karl.
