Check out this little gem that just dropped on ebay. I thought about trying to really go for the gusto on this Murad set - and this guy really did it up.
He's nearly collected all silk cards from the Murad set. If you've never seen a silk card, it's quite a bit like the jersey pieces, but the entire mini card is actually printed on a piece of silk. Or woven. Or however the hell they do it. Very cool. And each player has only 25 copies of the silk variation card.
This guy got 231 out of 251 cards. He's so very nearly there. And for this set? He wants a cool $2500. No joke.
I'm not sure he'll get there, but it's probably worth close to that when you figure how much each silk card individually is worth on the open market. Pretty insane.
I guess I can always dream.
