I'm going to be honest, I'm not a TJ Ford fan. I've watched him play several times, and he's just got a poor attitude. It's pretty obvious that many of his teammates don't like him. Or at least they don't like him when he's throwing them under the bus for a mistake that he made.
But in any event, he's part of the Murad auto collection. So had it not been for Murad, I wouldn't have ever owned his autograph. Don't get me wrong, he's got a great talent, just a poor attitude. But a lot of players in many sports fit that profile. He's still making more money than I'll ever see, so I guess he can have whatever attitude he wants.
Also, this card was purchased a while ago and is just now arriving. It's not part of my "no funds" in March Experiment that I'm documenting on Basketball Card Pro - and as a matter of fact, my latest entry on that site is from today. So check that out too.

I was really high on T.J. Ford when he came out of Texas and joined the Bucks in the famed '03 Draft Class (I have the jersey to prove it). He made the All-Rookie Second team in his first year, despite missing half the season due to a spinal injury that he sustained diving for a loose ball. When he was young and healthy, he could keep up with anyone.
Nice card. I liked ford too when he came out. It's really tough to judge a player (off the court), if you don't live in that city.
By the way, is there even an NBA franchise in Indy anymore? How bad are the Pacers? It's so sad. That was once a proud franchise.
You're making me want to hardcore collect a set, haha!
Anyway, at the shop today, I saw a Nic Batum gold refractor rookie outta Bowman Chrome and I thought of you. Looked really nice!
Oooh.
How much did he want for it? The only gold chrome I've seen on ebay sold for nearly 40.
Oh wow, he was looking for 20 on it.
What card shop was that then? I may have to use my March Experiment funds for a gold Batum then...
Hoopla Sports Cards in Beaverton. Hope it's still there for ya if you decide to go get it!
