And that happened....

The title is from one of my favorite youtube videos of all time.  And it's appropriate.  Even though the video clip is pure comedy - the title really fits for how I'm feeling after watching Game 4 of Blazers and Suns.

Brandon Roy - coming out of nowhere.  It was like watching WWF wrestling from the 80's.  All of a sudden the hero is in trouble...and the Ultimate Warrior comes from backstage and starts knocking guys out with crazy fists to the head.  Those of you who know what I'm talking about can relate to how that fits this game.  Just seeing Roy suited up dictated a different defense from the Suns - and a different level of mania from the crowd.

The team got nasty today.  Both teams did actually.  But Blazers stayed nasty longer.  I couldn't care less that Bayless got a flagrant foul - they had it coming.  And Stoudemire elbowing Batum in his sore shoulder should've got pushed harder.  Batum isn't taking this thing lying down anymore.

It was a great game.  We're 2-2.  And that's all that counts.  Quick, how many points did Phoenix win Game 2 by?  See?  Nobody remembers the margins of victory.  All we know is that the series is tied up.  I would type more, but my hand is screaming.  It was hard not to clap today.  Very difficult indeed.

"Dustin, of course #15" ... classic. I have never seen that video. Thanks for the link and congrats on the win.

I about shat myself when I heard the Mikes say B-Roy was checking in. What a great game. Amare's going to push it a little too far one of these games. I hope Batum knocks his f-ing teeth out.
