I should be sleeping. The Corona is wearing off. But I had to watch to the end of the Blazers / Suns game. And my prediction of the game was true. It was Andre Miller being Andre Miller - driving the lane like nobody's business. And Bayless followed suit.
Batum was stellar - and not showing any signs of being intimidated this year. Amare fouled out late in the 4th quarter - and it was...it was just great. There were some shaky moments in the final minutes, but the Blazers figured it out. I tell you what, watch SportsCenter - and in the moment when Marcus Camby completely misses a dunk, you should've heard the words I had for my television set.
Portland wasn't closing it out like they should've, but Phoenix wasn't capitalizing like they should've either.
I can't fully break this baby down right now, I've got to get to bed. But this is why we watch all of the 82 regular season games - just to get to games like this. It paints the rest of the playoffs in a whole different light. We have a chance, baby. We have a chance.
Portland wins 105-100.
And I really don't know how I'm going to sleep. My pulse is racing and my stomach is turning from the stress. Damn. What a game.
