And the winner is...TJ

So I had a contest yesterday - that wasn't publicized or hyped for the typical week.  It was kind of a 'gimme' for those few folks who decided to check into the site on a Sunday night to sign up.

I got three entries.  And the contest was to determine who could guess as close as possible the number of K's that Felix Hernandez had against the A's on Opening Day.  And he only ended up with 4.  TJ had the closest guess with 7.

No tiebreakers were needed.  Felix looked sharp early on - but faded a bit after the fifth and sixth inning.  SIDE NOTE:  What a fun game to watch that was.  It's not often that you see that many stolen bases, attempted stolen bases and full counts in a game.  This Mariners team kept me interested from start to finish.  5 runs isn't a bad total either.

So TJ, who's site is now all bright and cheery, you win.  And Chase Headley had a killer game yesterday.  It is an Exquisite rookie auto - so wait for him to have a great string of games and flip that sucker.  Or keep it, he was a Portland Beaver after all.  Probably the last great Portland Beaver we've had - as far as 'hype' goes.  How bout you save me on the shipping costs and we'll go have a beer sometime in the next week or two?  Mmmm.  Beer.

Nice. A couple of beers would be a very nice way to celebrate my victory. Maybe I'll get there early enough to bet on some horses.

Yeah, we'll have to look here in the next couple of weeks and see where we both fit.
