Another day passes...and no Manila Envelope Love

It's already heading into the second week of April - and I should have had a bunch of Murad minis on their way already.  But everyday that I go to the mailbox all I find are bills.  No Manila Envelope Love.

I've already gone over that feeling of seeing a stack of manila in your mailbox.  It's a great feeling.  It's what you've been waiting for.  And it's even worse when you know that it's due to you, and it doesn't come.

And I'm really needing a basketball pick me up right now.  Tonight, for the first time, I'll have to switch back and forth between the Blazers and the Mariners game.  Obviously the Blazers take precedence.  But watching the top of the Mariners lineup will be fun this year.  I've watched them the last couple of nights, and even though last night was a dud, there's a ton of talent on this team now.  Not enough talent to skip watching Batum rain down threes on the Clips.  But I'd hate to miss a key moment in another game as well.  Baseball is a lot of waiting for that three-second payoff.  It's entirely possible that I'll miss that whole payoff while on another game.

So, yeah.  A bit of a ramble today.  I only have these minis coming today, and they're not here.  The Blazers only have five games left of the regular season.  And the M's are starting up.  Did I mention I'm trying to coordinate taking the family to their first AAA Beavers game this year too?  I just wish that people would build their schedules so that I just do things one at a time.

I know hoe it is to wait for those beautiful manila envelopes. I'm waiting for a couple EX A Cut Above inserts. I've always wanted to put the set together and these are the first. It's been about a week now.

Good Luck. I hope the "Mail gods" are good to you in the coming days.

If you can manage to get the family to the Beavers game next Sunday, I'll be there. Oh, I got an envelope stuffed with about 100 '09 Topps Mayo cards today. Just thought I'd rub it in.
