Seriously. There will be no other team that Blazer fans would be more geeked to see in the Rose Garden than the Dallas Mavericks. Apologies to Big D, but that game last night was very poorly officiated. In fact, the step above poorly officiated is "horse-shit". And I can still smell that equine aroma wafting out of my television.
The technical foul-fest against the Blazers was disheartening. But the flagrant missed calls were just beyond me. To be fair though, the refs missed a few traveling calls on Portland. But it almost felt like the other refs were trying to "give back" to the Blazers for other poor calls. I don't know.
But the Blazers have done well against the Mavs this year - and last night's loss was no blowout. I think that the Blazers can actually take this team. We matchup well. And aside from Kobe Bryant, it sounds like the Blazer fans would love nothing more than to see Dirk and company come back a couple more times.
Frustrating. I'm still frustrated. But it's ok. The playoffs are right around the corner.
And finally, TJ, you must not mock what you don't know. Stargate: Universe is so much more than scientists and military men bumbling around space. Just try it. And then I'll continue my quest to get you to read the Star Wars expanded universe novels.

Speaking of Star Wars, the new Red Letter Media review of Attack of the Clones is up. Again, it's genius.

I thought the officiating was spot on. I don't know what you were watching. ;)
