It's the first day of baseball - and now I'm not ready.

I was totally ready for baseball like a month ago.  Now, I wish it would kind of just wait another month or so.  I've got to get into basketball playoff mode first.  But ready or not, here it comes.

I am kind of excited to watch what the Mariners do this year.  Their off-season moves have been the talk of the town, so I'll follow them - see what happens.  One thing I WILL NOT do - follow Padres baseball.  I get into teams that I follow.  And that team will break your heart, let me tell you.

Actually, it wasn't really that I followed the Padres, I just followed certain players.  I was a huge Peavey fan, I'll root for him wherever he goes.  I like Edgar Gonzalez, but who knows what'll happen with him.  And I followed Chase Headley through Portland to the bigs.  And now he's kind of stalled out in a crappy team.  But he'll be moving to 3rd this year with Kooz out to the A's.  So maybe he'll pick up.

But I'm 'purging' lately.  I'm getting rid of cards that I don't really need - and getting cards that actually mean something to me.  So my latest purge is this card here:
