That was a tough night's sleep - aftermath of Blazers/Suns

How many different ways can I possibly express 'WTF'?

I, along with many in Portland, kind of suspected that Phoenix would find a way to take Game 2 back.  It's a pretty tried and true pattern - road team takes Game 1, home team takes back Game 2.  What none of us expected is that the margin of victory would be nearly 30 points.  To take a page page from the great Mike Rice, "my tooth hurts."

But I'm ok with that.  At the end of the series, nobody will really remember the margins of victory.  We'll only remember who won the series.  And Portland still has a fighter's chance of getting out of this thing alive.

But that being said - what about Nicolas Batum?  Did I really just see him get his shoulder taken out again?  Did that just happen?  It did.

Of course, in team management sport speak, Batum is listed as having a shoulder strain.  He's getting an MRI today here in Portland.  I'm just beside myself with disbelief.

Seriously, who put the voodoo on this damn team this year?  Camby just signed a huge contract - and all I can wonder is how long will he play before somebody breaks his knee going for a routine rebound?  It's really that kind of mentality this year with the club.

As we stand though, we don't know anything yet.  So I can't jump to conclusions - or jump off the bridge - quite yet.

And in other playoffs news, the Celtics and the Hawks rolled, convincingly.  And the Lakers still haven't lost yet to the Thunder.  I was really hoping that OKC could go into Staples and steal one of those.  Oh well.  I've got bigger things to worry about.

More to come after Batum's MRI results are released.

I know right? Start to finish, the worst Blazers experience I've had this year outside of losing Oden for the season.
