Portland lost 89-108. Words kind of fail me at the moment. It wasn't even close. It was never really that close.
Batum looked like he was in serious pain - he was a non-factor. But at least the guy sucked it up and tried like hell to play defense until he was knocked out of the game while driving the lane. Imagine that, the French guy understood the English gameplan to play defense and drive the lane. I'm not sure that message was understood all around the locker room.
At this point, we can only hope that Amare gets the Kevin Garnett treatment for the elbow he threw and that the Blazers came come back in Game 4 like the Suns came out in Game 2. We can still hope.

Sorry about that result. I can kinda feel your pain though, as the Mavs looked like they had forgotten what D was the other night & Dirk could barely hit the broad side of a barn. Hopefully they'll get it right in game 3.
I see Pendergraph and Cunningham playing a few more minutes to pick up few hard fouls on Saturday.
