2010 Preakness - Still no luck of the Irish

Well, I was with the number 10 horse - Paddy O' Prado.  I like the horse.  He had a good trip, but he was a long shot just due to the fact that he has only run on turf and sloppy fields.  This was a fast dirt track.

Calvin Borel was on the 8, Super Saver.  No luck.  The horse was gassed at the end.  And this is why it's so hard to win the Triple Crown.  It's a tough thing to do.

And the winner was the 7, Lookin At Lucky.  He deserved it.  He's a great horse too.  I didn't bet but $3 on my horse.  I was rooting for him, but I'm no fool either.  He hadn't proven himself yet.  And I couldn't decide between the 7 or the 8 for a definitve bet.  So I didn't bet either.  I enjoyed a great race that didn't cost me.  And that's a win in and of itself.
