Basketball Card Blog is now on Facebook

I know, I know.  How many forms of social media does one Guy need to get his point across that he likes basketball cards?  Well, just this one more.

You can find the page here.

Really, I was looking into photobucket and shutterfly for a way to display my collection of cards.  But they were lacking that extra something that would allow me to streamline what I really want to do.  First and foremost, I want a place that readers can go quickly to see the cards and collections that I'm working on.  It's one thing to see me post cards here on the main page, but in a couple of days they're gone and you wouldn't think of them anymore.

So to start out, I put up all 31 Murad relics I have at the moment.  Each card is listed individually with name and card number.  And it looks really sharp.  It's a mammoth little task to get it up and running.  So please, go over to the site and tell me if it was even worth it to put all of that up.

Secondly, I'm planning on putting up the Murad autos, the Nicolas Batum autograph signing and the Bowman Batum rainbow.  But more than that, I want a photo section that I can put up cards I have for trade.  The trade stuff will all be up by this next weekend.  I don't always want to take the time to sell everything on ebay.  I'd much rather put it up on a trade page and have people make requests right there below the card they want.  It's just an idea, but I think it will work.

Lastly, the facebook page will allow me to follow the card companies and other collectors without making it painfully obvious on my personal Facebook page how much of a dork I am about sports cards.  Some stuff just doesn't need to be shared with every person I ever went to high school with.

So seriously, go check out the Murad relics page.  You'll be jealous.

It's def a good idea. The card companies regularly have contests and give aways on their Facebook pages. What I don't get from the media emails, i usually get from Facebook. Good Stuff G.
