First, let me give you the proof that my previous post is legit. I bought that Scottie Pippen card for an insanely cheap price. And as you can see by the listing title, it's just not worded right to be found by the average collector.
See? The jersey piece is from an All Star jersey, but it doesn't say Murad relic at all. It's just an odd wording. And the 2007 listing is so far off from putting it into a classification for a card that is manufactured in 08/09. So what did I pay for this card? $4.76. And that's not bad. But like I said, this card in particular has always sold for way more. I don't really even know why. There's plenty of relic cards of Pippen that cost less. But for whatever reason, Murad Pippen's sell high.
Now today, another (properly listed) Pippen Murad relic auction ended. And here's how that one ended up.
It's listed as a Murad relic. Plain and simple. I don't know that it's called a 'gold' variation, but he still gets the listing right. 08/09 Murad relic. He even took a risk and put 'Scottie Pippen' in the extra information bar. But the card number and the card listing are correct. And look at the results. This card sold for $35.05. And that's about in the range I've seen them in the past.
So, for the same card, I saved $30.29 after shipping was factored in. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
OK. I'm done bragging about it. But still - it's nice to celebrate a bit when you know for sure that you got an awesome deal.
