Can this Free-Agent class be any more action packed?

Dirk Nowitzki just opted out of his final year in Dallas.  He could stay in Dallas with a new deal, but he could also go.  And there are 4 or 5 teams that won't get Lebron, but wouldn't mind getting Nowitzki if available.

Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire, Joe Johnson and now Dirk Nowitzki.  Seriously, the landscape of the NBA is going to change in a major way this summer.

Only one more day until teams start making their public offers - and this whole thing is going to blow up.

Sorry Big D - I hope he re-signs in Dallas, though.  He's the face of that team.  He ought to finish his career there.  But damn.  There is some serious talent waiting to be signed out there.

I agree with you... I hope Dirk stays with the Mavs and finishes his career in Dallas. In fact, I hope Lebron stays in Cleveland... and Wade in Miami. It's rare and special when a player starts, stays, and finishes their whole career in one city.

Don't forget Pierce. He's out there briefly since every report has him signing a new deal with the Celtics to end his career there.

I predict our team will fail at nabbing anyone decent in free agency.
