1) The more I watch Ichiro play, the more I'm absolutely sure I'm watching one of the greatest players of all time. I'm thinking that he'll be one of the few that surpasses the mark of 'generational greats' and will be on the All-Time list before all is said and done. The guy is amazing. Unorthodox, but amazing. But don't the greats usually do things their own way? Teach that batting stance to a bunch of little leaguers and you'd be run out of town. But Ichiro makes it look as natural as breathing.
2) Freaking Mariners. Again, freaking Mariners. How do you take 3 of 4 from the Twins and then play like garbage and drop 3 to LAA? The Mariners do not play well in day games.
3) Me and the kids are watching the entire Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix right now. We're getting prepped to watch the movie. I've caught bits and pieces of the show before, but now the entire series on available to watch online with the Wii. I'm seriously impressed. Great show. Now I have to hope that the movie doesn't suck. But it's M. Night Shyamlananananan (possible spelling error here) who's directing it. So I do have some hope.
4) Lakers take on Boston tonight. Is it too "over-paid-sports-analyst" of me to say that Boston needs to win Game 2? Maybe. But I still think it's true. I look for Boston to even it up tonight.
5) Monty Williams is going to coach the Hornets next year. On the one hand, I say good for him. He needed to get out from under McMillan's shadow and do his own thing. I think that Williams and staff wanted a young team to run, but Nate wanted...what Nate wanted. And how great is that to go coach a team with CP3 on the roster?
But on the other hand, Williams was a mentor to Batum. I hope that Batum isn't too negatively affected by this move. We'll have to wait and see.
6) Here's the update on my super special mystery card. It should be here tomorrow. I'm so excited.

Yeah, I've already given up on the Mariners. I'm a fan without a team right now.
Oh, and the key to Boston winning tonight will be to score more points than the Lakers.
Shyamlananananan. Best thing I've ever heard.
