Trying something new

What do you guys think of the new layout?  Truth be told I was getting bored with the old layout.  This one feels more modern.  And it's conducive to my general geekery in Star Wars and Sci-Fi.

And I was looking for some way, however small it may be, to mark the beginning of the World Cup.  So I'm not 100% sure that I could even get it back to the way it was, but if the response is negative I'd try my best to put it all back the way it was.

So is it worthy to stay or not?

And hey, how bout them South Africans.  I despise the Mexican squad, so I was glad to see the home team get a point.  Let's go USA!

It's def cool!!!! I was blown away when I first saw it. I would change the font on your Page Banner. It is difficult to read. I would try a few things out that are easier to read. Other than that, it looks really cool G, all the separate sections standout more, so do the images/pics.

I was thinking the same thing. The images look much shaper against a dark background. Plus it feels a bit like the Force Unleashed when I look at my page. I think I'll keep it for a bit.

I'll change the font though. It it hard to read now that you mention it.

keep it... not really basketballish though, if that matters

It's not really basketballish. But then again, the last template wasn't really hoopish either. They have some basketball themed stuff - but it looks like clip art from power point.

I can always change it if something else comes along. It's growing on me though.

I dig it.

It makes everything really stretched out, as it's only one column. That's my only gripe. It looks rad.

All day long I was looking for something in my head that fit a more subdued sports moment. I found it in the sparks background. Ok. I'm leaving it as is for a while.

I may use the other template for a Star Wars card/RPG/Games/miniatures site. I'm just mulling it over.
