I came, I saw, I conquered that damn starter in my Jeep this day - the hottest day of the year.

I know that many people think that talking about sports cards is childish - but I just wanted to let the world (and my wife) know that I am sufficiently "man" in this day.  The mechanics told me that to my face that it would be nearly $400 dollars to replace my starter.

And they dared me not to accept their offer.  After all, what was I going to do?  Replace it myself? 

You're damn right.

I've never replaced a starter, didn't know what one looked like or anything else.  But equipped with my tools, a mechanics guide, two brand new steel truck ramps and a brand new starter - I did the unthinkable.  I changed out that bad boy. 

Now you may ask, "what does this post have to do with basketball cards?"

Nothing.  Nothing at all.

But somebody had to know this great thing I've done this day.

But I'll post later in the day after Lebron makes his announcement at 6PM Pacific Time.  So we'll get all sorts of sports talk in later.
