Murad Quest continues - with a Nowitzki red???

When I first saw this card on ebay - I assumed that the swatch was from an All-Star game jersey (some of the cards do say they're from All Star games).  But the back of this card says that it was from an NBA game.  I didn't realize that the Mavs had ever had a red jersey.  Maybe Big D would know.

It's an odd card to look at.  The color palate of the card is begging to have a navy blue relic piece in there.  But they gave me a red one.  Oh well.  It counts.  If I see a more appealing swatch of this card online, I may exchange it.  In the same vein, once the set is complete, I'll be looking to replace the white swatches with colored ones if at all possible.

But this card is another key piece of the relic puzzle.  This is number 39 for me, so only 11 left to go - and I have one of those on order.  This set is getting so close to completion.  I wonder how I'm going to celebrate the completion of the relic set?  I'll have to do something special I think.  I'll sleep on it.

Before I even read the post, I was wondering y it's red. Very interesting. I don't think I have more than 2 Dirk cards. I just can't get into collecting him. I would like two cards of his, the Topps Chrome RC Refractor and Fleer Auto. That's it tho. It's pretty cool tho that you're so close to completing this. Awesome Stuff G!!!!

That swatch really pops out of the card being red. The All-Star game is technically an NBA game, just not a regular season game. Still, they usually say so if it was an All-Star relic, right?

Either way, nice piece!
