Why can't we just order our boxes direct from Beckett?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zqkn28Rrow&playnext=1&videos=_NniBZCmvfQ

The above link is the link to Beckett's box break of the Topps Tribute baseball.  Sports Cards Uncensored first gave their review of the break - so I won't go into too much detail here (after all it is baseball, so I don't have a horse in that race).

But after having watched the video, I had a moment of clarity.  Why doesn't Beckett just sell hobby boxes?  The stuff they pull is by far and away better than what the rest of us could pull by conventional means.

Chris Old's box had a Strasburg auto relic redemption and the other box had a Pujols 1/1 in it.

Mix in that they pulled a Howard auto relic and a Prince Fielder auto relic.  Not too bad.  Good for them.  They really are just lucky I think.

So how cool would it be if we could get them to order a bunch of product to sell to the rest of us?  Then we could all be lucky too.

In all seriousness - watch the video, and look at Chris Olds physical reaction to the other guy pulling the Pujols 1/1.  You don't have to be a psycho-analyst to read the body language that he just knows how bad this is going to look.

Good thing they've disabled all of their comments on their youtube page.  I had a great comment for them all ready to go....

It's ridiculous... I just replied to Beckett's Blog where Olds tries to justify things.

I'm glad you put your opinion out there... I'll be posting my thoughts on my blog when I get home from work.

Maybe if enough of us do it... card companies and Beckett will do something about the problem.

It is ridiculous. The whole world with half a brain is laughing at them - and they're just 'business as usual'.

I don't even need to be as venemous as other commentators. It's just so over the top at this point that their own videos speak for themselves.

Did the Babe Ruth bat they pulled as well from those boxes not even merit a mention. I would love one of those.

The whole deal was a hot mess. Just one more in a long line.
