Can France defeat the home team?

I'm in a pickle.  Tomorrow is Saturday.  But really, it's the Monday of my workweek.  Hooray me, right?

So not only does Everton sqaure off against Liverpool, but France is in the field of 16 in the FIBA tourney - and it's down to a one-and-done NCAA type format.  And who do they have to play?  Home team Turkey.  That's who.

See?  If you didn't read my blog, you might never have known that.

So I hope Batum can have the game of his life.  I hope he can imagine that all of the Turkish players are Amare' Stoudemire aiming for his sore shoulder.  I hope so many things - but I'll miss it live.  So nothing much I can do there.

And there is that matter of Everton....

My goodness.  I'm really needing them to get a win this weekend.  I know I shouldn't let it affect me, but it does affect me on some level.  Can't fix it - and I don't want to.

So everybody wish me luck tomorrow.  I'm about to go on a sports bender...on my Monday.  My quality of Tuesday hangs in the balance...
