Just watched the first NFL game of the year

Eh......

That's my reaction.  Eh.

I'm sure there is some sort of Patriotism Police out there keeping tabs that I've officially sized up the NFL kickoff with an emphatic, "eh".  Well I'm guilty I guess.

Today was a big day for me though, so really it would've had to be a major game for me to get up for it.  Plus, this is my one and only day off this week, so I'm already in 'work mode'.  It's hard to turn it off.  But a little extra cash will feel good when it's all said and done, right?

So let me just do a quick rundown here, I've got to get to sleep to prepare for some manual labor tomorrow.

1)  The NFL really is just 'eh' for me.  I'm sorry.  I know I'm in the minority here on this one.

2)  I finally bought a movie package on my cable.  Finally.  I got Showtime to watch Dexter this year.  But it came with Encore as well.  So I just got done watching "Stand By Me" a bit ago.  Good stuff.  I've already got every sports package they offer, they should've given me a free movie package out of principle. 

3)  I'm now part of a group of six writers over at Sports Jambalaya.  It's still pretty free form, but it's another outlet to write on.  So check it out over there.  I've still not put in my first article.  That will probably be coming here this weekend.
