Why don't NBA refs have trading cards?

I only ask this question because those are cards that I would gladly ding the corners, ruffle the edges and pin on the wall to throw darts at.  I think somebody should make some.  Maybe throw some crappy sticker autos on them too. 

I'm not a fan of NBA refs.  Rarely do I come away from a game thinking, "that was a fairly officiated game."  And truth be told, there are football (soccer) matches that I do come away from the game and have that very thought.  Good officiating is evident.  Bad officiating is more evident.

So when the NBA released their referee retirements this week, I was saddened not to see the worst ref of them all on the list - Mr. Joey Crawford.  Rarely has a ref made his agendas more transparent than Crawford does.

In case you were wondering, the refs that retired are Joe DeRosa, Joe Forte, Sean Corbin and Phil Robinson.

So, while we get ready for the next season, let's take another look at what we have in store for us with Joey Crawford...
