What can I say? The Blazers got Gerald Wallace. They did a good thing. They got better.
But they got a guy at Batum's position. I just hope that Batum gets some love if they can move Aldridge to the 5, Wallace to the 4 and leave Batum at the 3 for stretches. That, or Batum learns to play better off the bench this time around.
Either way, good day for Portland, bad day for Batum fans. This essentially makes Batum a tradeable asset.
But Gerald Wallace is a beast. It's hard to deny that.

I was wondering what your thoughts were on this. It's a pretty nice trade. If Oden and Roy could come back, the Blazers would be the beast of the West next year with Perkins and the Thunder.
There was some talk of Wallace landing here, which would be much more preferable than him showing up with a potential playoff opponent like the Blazers. I hope they figure out how to keep Batum on the floor also, just for you.
Congratulations...I saw this earlier and though of you. Wallace is one heck of a player... and no doubt the Blazers are better than before the trade.
Batum will get his playing time until Camby comes back, but after that, it's hard to guess. He just might have to be the teams 6th man, which isn't bad if he can be reliable. I'm excited about this.
I've always like Wallace. I've been thinking of adding a new basketball player PC and I've been tossing around Wallace, Monta Ellis and Kevin Love. I think the decision has been made for me.
