Been away for a couple of days. Been laying low.
Truth be told, the Super Bowl loss of the Steelers hurt me worse than I thought it would. At first, I was ok. But as the days passed by, it was almost like I was mourning the loss. Not that I had time to truly be depressed - I still have to function here in real life. But as far as having the motivation to write about sports...it hurt that area a bit.
So, to get caught back up here, here's what's caught my eye the last couple of days.
First off, Nicolas Batum bobble heads are pissing me off. This new auction is up above $125 with two days still left on the auction. And there's another one listed that's now in the $90 range. People need to get beat up.
Kind of a crazy video of Panini here. Seems like a big to do over a bunch of non numbered cards though. I've never understood the Contenders on-card autos thing though. Why somebody would number everything else, but only release print runs of a certain card is silly to me. To each their own though.
To those who had trades with me on the Panini HOF box, my portion of the trade is going out tomorrow. It's a little later than I'd have liked to ship them, but I got busy here. What can I say? No excuse. But they are on their way.
I've also got another box of UD Masterpieces football coming this week, maybe tomorrow, if not, I'll post it on a Monday. I've got a ton of great mail to show off of some of my favorite players. And all in all, after all the beer washed away my sorrows, I'm ready to get back at it.

Can you explain to me what was wrong with Hackler's question? Or was it staged and I just don't get the joke.
Damn... the prices of the bobble heads are insane. My guess is that they'll go down eventually.
Looking forward to seeing what you pull from the Masterpieces box... I love that product. Maybe you'll pull a nice Steelers autograph to help cheer you up.
