A Nicolas Batum White Whale surfaces on ebay....

Finally it happened.  After nearly three years of following Nicolas Batum rookie cards, one of his top three Rookie cards surfaced on ebay this week.

First off, what does the "collector in chief" of Nicolas Batum cards consider his top three cards?

Well, first off his Bowman 1/1 Superfractor (never seen), his Topps Chrome RC Superfractor (never seen) and his Exquisite auto numbered 88/99 (jersey number and most sought after of his rookie autos).

Well, since I've clued you in to the fact that his two sought after 1/1's have never been seen, it must mean that his Exquisite auto 88/99 is the card of the hour.  And it truly is.

If I have any secret millionaire readers (you know who you are) please feel free to pick up this card for me - I'll be forever in your debt.  For the rest of my readers who want to see the card, the auction is here.

In a surprise move, the seller is selling the card in a BIN format for one thousand dollars.  Really, I don't think the market is high enough to warrant the price tag, but I'm willing to bet he could've come close to half that if he'd have put it up in an auction format.  I mean, now is the time to list it - right as the playoffs are kicking off.  And he could've capitalized on the card with a week long auction format.  But, to each their own.

Just so you all know, I look fondly on the card once a day.  You should too.

And last night, in Game 3 of the playoffs, Batum, who had been held in check the first three quarters, really came alive when it counted and helped stick a dagger to the Mavs.  And here's my proof:
