Shit, 48 hours isn't enough time. It sure as hell isn't enough time to put into perspective an entire decade of my life. I'm getting old. Well, I'm getting older. But that's not such a bad thing. So here's a look at the positive side of things.
Here's my Top 10 List of why I love getting older.
10. My car insurance isn't really an issue anymore.
9. I have complete final say on the remote control. My tv. My house. My choice.
8. I'm free to try new things - namely soccer and hockey - two sports I didn't grow up watching.
7. I no longer have to count my change in my pocket whenever I go to the gas station to get a soda. I know I have enough to buy whatever strikes my fancy.
6. I can drink all the beer I want to.
5. I'm smart enough to know that I usually only want to drink two beers.
4. And I can really afford quality beer now.
3. The grey hair in my beard keeps me from pulling out my ID every time I buy a six pack.
2. I no longer have the pressure to spend time in nightclubs to hang out with my friends.
1. Being in the crapper for more than ten minutes doesn't draw the suspicion that you're playing with yourself. It's pretty much understood at this point in life that I'm reading a good book and taking my sweet old time.

very nice. #4 is the most important. When I finally had money, I realized the reason I didn't like beer is that in college I though Natty Light and Beast were beer. If I could go back, I would have spent the extra money for good beer.
I laughed pretty hard at number 1.
Awesome bro... hope you had one helluva birthday. Welcome to Club 30! We'll be members together for one year, then I'll be moving on up.
